CIGNA Reaches Agreement with ECU Physicians

CIGNA Healthcare and the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University announced this week that they have entered into a new multi-year agreement that will allow ECU Physicians to remain in the CIGNA provider network. While CIGNA had dropped ECU from its network as of Dec. 31, 2007, the new contract will cover patients treated by ECU Physicians while no contract was in place.
