Moses Cone and BCBSNC Resume Negotiations

Blue Cross Blue Shield of NC has resumed negotiations with Moses Cone Health System, which services the greater Greensboro area and other parts of Guilford County. As a result of the reopened negotiations, the current contract between Moses Cone and BCBS will not expire as of November 1, 2007, as previously reported.

While details of the negotiations have not been provided and no timeframes have been set, both parties are confident that a reasonable contract will be reached soon and that patients will again benefit from receiving quality care at in-network benefit levels.
