Guardian Standardizing Online Billing as of May 1 Effective May 1, 2009, Guardian is making their online billing services standard practice for all member employers. Thus, instead of receiving paper billing statements, member employers will need to view their statements online through Guardian’s secure benefits website, www.GuardianAnytime.com, starting with their May 1 bills. Guardian’s online billing services allows for faster receipt of benefit and billing information, less paper documents to store and discard when no longer current, and ease of emailing important documents to employees faster than ever before. Employers are receiving notices informing them of this change in policy, along with directions on how to access bills, booklets, guides and other benefit information through Guardian Anytime. Employers are encouraged to use Guardian Anytime when enrolling or terminating employees, updating member information, or accessing bills, booklets and guides. Employers who prefer to continue receiving paper bills will have an option to do so by calling Guardian Customer Response at 800-627-4200, or by selecting the paper option on the Guardian Anytime website after May 1, 2009.
