Beck Joins HCW Consulting Team

Hill, Chesson & Woody Employee Benefit Services has taken another bold step to strengthen its consulting practice with the recent addition of industry veteran Mike Beck. A widely-successful sales and account executive, Mike brings dynamic business skills and a wealth of experience to the HCW team. In his new role, he will provide expert consultation to clients in helping them to create and manage a customized benefit strategy for their employees. Mike comes to HCW after serving the past several years as a senior account executive with UnitedHealthcare in Charlotte, where he helped expand their client base in the 100-3,000 life market segment. Prior to that, he had a distinguished career at the consulting firm of Riggs, Counselman, Michaels & Downes in Baltimore where he held positions of senior sales executive and vice president. He also gained valuable industry experience at Aetna U.S. Healthcare in Linthicum, MD, and at Student Health Services at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. A savvy advisor and business strategist, Mike possesses the kind of welcome attributes and proven capabilities that make him a perfect addition at Hill, Chesson & Woody.
