HCW Adds Lowe as Small Business Consultant

Hill, Chesson & Woody Employee Benefit Services recently strengthened its small business unit with the addition of Durham native Jay Lowe as its newest consultant. Jay is a successful business advisor with significant experience in serving groups in multiple market segments. At HCW, he will leverage the firm’s resources and provide expert consultation in the area of benefit plan design and development for clients in the 25-50 employee market segment.Over the past several years, Jay has served as a financial advisor for Verity Investments and, more recently, Merrill Lynch where he developed lasting relationships with local clients by helping them strategically meet their short-term and long-term financial goals. Prior to his career in the financial sector, Jay was instrumental in growing and maintaining his family’s car dealership at Elkins Chrysler Mitsubishi, where he held several key positions including Finance Manager and General Manager.Jay is a dynamic and innovative businessman who exemplifies many of the same values that are often highly regarded at HCW – honesty, hard work, integrity and a passion for exceptional service.
