Benefits Firm Celebrates Opening Of Greenville Office At SuperBlock Event
GREENVILLE, N.C., September 8, 2015 – Hill, Chesson & Woody (HCW), a local benefits and consulting firm, will be celebrating the opening of its newest location in Greenville, N.C. at the Superblock Open House on Thursday, September 24th. The Greenville-Pitt County Chamber of Commerce will host a Ribbon Cutting ceremony for the Superblock Historic Redevelopment project from 5:30pm to 7:00pm at 5th & Cotanche Streets. This ribbon cutting is an acknowledgement to the businesses, including HCW, that now occupy the new Superblock space.
This office is HCW’s fourth location – the other three in Durham, Greensboro and Wilmington. Although this is HCW’s first physical address in Greenville, the organization has been ingrained in the local fabric through its involvement with the Boys & Girls Club, the Greenville Chamber of Commerce, the Pitt 100 committee, the Coastal Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) chapter and more. The new location will allow HCW to better support its clients and invest greater in the local community.
The Superblock event is open to the public, and is an opportunity for guests to explore the space and learn about the Superblock businesses. There will be giveaways, prizes, live music and food and drinks from local restaurants.
“We meet and educate many employers in North Carolina around their benefits plans and we continuously hear this market wants more expertise and leadership in the benefits arena,” said Todd Yates, managing partner and CEO at HCW. “We want to help employers manage their plans and have a positive impact on their businesses.”
“With close to 350 clients, many of which are in Eastern North Carolina, it just made sense to open our newest location in Greenville,” said Carol Wagoner, VP of Business Development at HCW. “If you haven’t been downtown Greenville lately then you are in for a treat. Many local businesses have rallied to open up this superblock for commerce; we are thrilled to call the Superblock home!”
