Benefits Consulting Firm Continues Growth With Two New Additions
DURHAM, N.C., February 2, 2017 – Hill, Chesson & Woody (HCW), a division of Gallagher Benefits Services, Inc., has announced the hiring of Victoria Lambert as Benefits Analyst and Benjamin Garner as Compliance Advisor.
In her role, Lambert is responsible for collecting, analyzing and summarizing plan data from carriers and clients. She organizes, manages and completes the renewal process for HCW clients. She also assists with the preparation of benefits and contributions benchmarking, creates historical plans, and contribution history for strategy meetings.
Lambert comes to HCW upon graduation. She previously interned at two companies in a Human Resources role.
In his role, Garner educates staff and clients on the multitude of laws and regulations that affect health and welfare benefit plans to ensure employers are compliant and avoid or mitigate risk. He also conducts a compliance review for new clients and creates a compliance plan of action that outlines gaps and identifies suggestions to improve compliance.
Garner comes to HCW after spending almost four years as the Chief of Unemployment Insurance Adjudication within a division of the N.C. Department of Commerce. Prior to that, he worked in corporate law and compliance.
“The addition of Victoria and Ben will allow us to better serve our clients from all sides. With the potential replacement of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act coming down the pipeline, it’s important for our clients now, more than ever, to have compliance support,” said Todd Yates, Area President of Hill, Chesson & Woody, a division of Gallagher Benefits Services, Inc.
