Benefits Consulting Firm and Human Resources Firm Hosts Educational Event For Local Businesses

DURHAM, N.C., May 18, 2015 – Hill, Chesson & Woody (HCW), a local benefits and consulting firm, will host a free educational seminar in conjunction with ADP, HCW’s Triangle office, located at 4819 Emperor Blvd. This program, a part of HCW’s Employee Benefits Ready series, will focus on the benefit planning considerations employers should be looking at and showcase the technology available to stay in line with mandated reporting requirements.

HCW health and welfare consultant, Joanne Forbes, will analyze how group medical plans integrate with other types of plans available in the market and how a complete benefit program offering can leverage voluntary programs. She will also cover best practices that will enable attendees to control the administration costs. ADP vice president of sales, Greg Loomis, will detail the reporting requirements added to the Internal Revenue Code by the ACA and how integrating technology can ease the administrative burden of these new requirements.

This free seminar is pending accreditation by the HR Certification Institute for 2.00 general credit hours toward PHR, SPHR and GPHR recertification. HCW is recognized by SHRM to offer 2 Professional Development Credits (PDCs) for the SHRM-CPSM or SHRM-SCPSM.
