Two New Employees Hired to Support Clients
DURHAM, N.C., July 14, 2017 – Hill, Chesson & Woody (HCW), a division of Gallagher Benefits Services, Inc., has announced that the firm has hired a benefits analyst and a client benefits specialist to continue the service excellence HCW provides to clients.
Katherine Mitchell joined HCW in May as a South Carolina transplant, having spent her last two years with a financial planning firm in Spartanburg. In her new role as benefits analyst, Mitchell will work closely with clients to help them through the healthcare renewal process by collecting, analyzing and summarizing client data.
Mitchell graduated from North Greenville University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. She enjoys volunteering and provides regular support to local and national non-profit groups.
“I enjoy helping people,” says Mitchell, “and have found great fulfillment in providing service to clients in the insurance field.”
As a client benefits specialist, Lauren Hoke researches and resolves issues and provides support to clients by maintaining eligibility and bill reconciliation. She works on the customer advocacy team to deliver HCW's exceptional client experience to meet clients' needs and ensure client satisfaction.
Hoke is a 2011 graduate of Furman University and resides in Durham with a budding family.
“I believe employee benefits round out companies and help employees feel secure,” says Hoke. “It is very important to have a working understanding of what those benefits are to make the best use of them. I am excited to be an advocate for others in that learning process.”
