Local Benefits And Consulting Firm Adds New Hire To Consulting Team

DURHAM, N.C., August 24, 2015 – Hill, Chesson & Woody, a local benefits and consulting firm, has announced the hiring of Angie Edwards. In this role, Edwards acts as a liaison between the HCW Lead Consultant, Joy Binkley, and internal teams to coordinate workflow, set expectations internally and externally and ensure more efficient outcomes in a timely manner.

She will manage Consultant responsibilities to on-board new clients including AOR letters, service agreement, business associate agreement, client data collection, setting up electronic files and notifying internal teams assigned to support client.

Edwards comes to HCW with over 7 years of experience in recruiting, employee relations and benefits. She began her career as a trainer and then was promoted to Human Resources Generalist for Union Federal Bank in Indianapolis, Ind.

Edwards received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Indiana University. She resides in Wake Forest with her husband and three children.
