Local Benefits And Consulting Firm Adds  New Hire To Consulting Firm

DURHAM, N.C., October 21, 2015 – Hill, Chesson & Woody (HCW), an independent benefits and consulting firm, has announced the hiring of D. Jordan Whichard IV as Principal, Health and Welfare Consultant. In this role, he provides expert consultation in the area of employee benefit plans for the design, implementation and management of corporate benefits strategies. He will work to create and implement a benefit strategy that meets client’s business and financial objectives.

Whichard comes to HCW after a successful career in government and politics. Most recently, he served as the Southern Regional Political Director at the Democratic National Committee. Prior to that, he served in the Obama administration as Associate Director of Scheduling and Advance at the White House. He has also worked at the 2012 Democratic National Convention, as a member of the 2009 and 2013 Presidential Inaugural Committees, and worked on the Barack Obama presidential campaign in 2007 and 2008.

Whichard graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts, double majoring in Political Science and Management and Society.
