Local Benefits And Consulting Firm Adds New Hire To Health Management Team

DURHAM, N.C., November 23, 2015 – Hill, Chesson & Woody (HCW), an independent benefits and consulting firm, has announced the hiring of Nichole Stewart as Health Management Advisor. In this role, she is responsible for executing clients’ health and wellness management programs to be in alignment with their benefit strategy. As a subject matter expert, Stewart researches and recommends service providers in addition to creating and implementing successful health management plans.

Stewart comes to HCW after working in the Corporate and Community Health field for several years. Most recently, she served as an account manager and FitWarrior Coach for RivalHealth in Raleigh, N.C., where she was responsible for planning, implementing and sustaining the program, as well as collaborating with over 40 corporate administrators from diverse industries. Stewart was solely in charge of the development and strategic planning for the company’s first employee wellness operating plan.

Prior to that, she worked with WakeMed Corporate and Community Health in Raleigh, NC. While in this position she gained professional experience in both public and corporate health screenings. Stewart also has additional education in health coaching, heart health education, nutrition education, exercise fitness education, stress management, and teaching health education to corporate clients.

Stewart graduated from the Appalachian State University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion and a minor in Nutrition.  She is also a Certified Personal Trainer. Stewart lives in Raleigh, N.C. with her husband.
