HCW Welcomes New Team Members in Client Support Roles

DURHAM, N.C., November, 2017 – Hill, Chesson & Woody (HCW), a division of Gallagher Benefits Services, Inc., has announced the hire of a new Consultant Coordinator.

As Consultant Coordinator, Ashley Wetherell will work as a liaison between Area VP Health & Welfare Consulting, Ellen Tucker, throughout the life cycle of the benefits plan year. She will help coordinate the work both internally and externally through a wide variety of creativity and latitude.

Wetherell holds a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Communication Studies from the University of Carolina at Wilmington.

“I want to help employers understand the complex issues of the benefits industry,” says Wetherell.

Shannon McDonald joined HCW in June as temporary Office Support Coordinator. She quickly moved into to a Client Manager Administrative Assistant role in September. In her current role, McDonald helps create presentations and documents for Client Managers and HCW clients.

McDonald graduated from East Carolina University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.

Both Wetherell and McDonald were sourced from Greene Resources, a local Raleigh recruiting agency.

“Both Ashley and Shannon will be a complement to our team. We value their attention to detail and strong work ethic,” said Todd Yates, area president at Hill, Chesson & Woody.
