Two New Team Members Join HCW
DURHAM, N.C., October, 2017 – Hill, Chesson & Woody (HCW), a division of Gallagher Benefits Services, Inc., has announced that the firm has hired two new Client Benefits Specialists to deliver HCW's exceptional client experience to meet clients' needs and ensure client satisfaction.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in healthcare management from Appalachian State University, Marissa Petersen worked the following four years as an administrative assistance for a pediatric neurosurgeon. This prior experience in customer service makes Petersen an excellent addition to the HCW team as she will support clients with bill reconciliation and eligibility maintenance. Petersen is currently perusing her Master of Business Administration through the University of North Carolina at Pembroke.
“I have been in the healthcare field since my freshman year in college (2010) and I am excited to learn and challenge myself,” says Petersen.
Having worked in the insurance industry for more than eight years, Dorothy Hilton joined HCW in September as Client Benefits Specialist. Her customer service skills and attention to detail make Hilton a great resource for our clients as she will work on the customer advocacy team.
Hilton holds an associate’s degree in human service management from the University of Phoenix and has prior work experience as an enrollment specialist.
“Merissa and Dorothy will make a powerful addition to our team as they both bring in years of experience in the healthcare industry,” said Todd Yates, area president at Hill, Chesson & Woody.
