DURHAM, N.C., August 2018 – Hill, Chesson & Woody, a Gallagher Company, has announced the hire of a new Client Manager and a new Underwriting Supporting Analyst.
As Client Manager, Rebecca Smith provides excellent customer service to our large clients and effectively supports the administration of health and welfare programs. Smith has over 18 years of industry knowledge and has been working and managing clients for over 14 years. She first joined our team in 2003, becoming a Client Manager in 2005 and performing this role until 2015. Smith rejoined our team in July 2018.
Smith has a Bachelor of Science in Biology from East Carolina University.
“I enjoy building longstanding relationships with my clients and advocating for them,” said Smith.
As Underwriting Supporting Analyst, Katya Kubov supports the efforts of the underwriting team by aggregating, preparing and analyzing financial and utilization data for our clients.
Kubov graduated from Belmont Abbey College in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with a minor in Computer Science and concentrations in Actuarial Science and Physics. Prior to her current role, she spent one summer interning at actuary’s office where she gained valuable industry insights.
“I’ve always loved math and working with data. When I discovered there was a field where I can do both, I was super excited,” said Kubov.
