Pharmacy Benefit Updates Effective January 1, 2018

The UnitedHealthcare (UHC) Prescription Drug List (PDL) update will take effect January 1, 2018. UHC updates their PDL twice a year in order to maintain pace with market trends, as well as keep up with price changes and new clinical information. Impacted members will receive a letter from UHC 30-60 days prior to January 1 with details of the change and a list of alternatives.

Pharmacy Benefit Updates Effective January 1, 2018

Please be aware that the UnitedHealthcare Prescription Drug List update will take effect January 1, 2018. This list is updated twice a year in order to maintain pace with market trends, as well as keep up with price changes and new clinical information.

You will receive a letter 30-60 days prior to January 1, 2018 if you are an impacted by these changes. You are encouraged to visit myuhc.com to find lower cost medications.

If you have additional questions or concerns, your pharmacist should be able to view specific member cost and coverage information at the point of prescribing. Additionally, the Health4ME app or myuch.com will provide information on current benefits as well as provide a way to search for lower cost alternatives and drug prices.
