UnitedHealthcare and Duke LifePoint Renew Network Relationship

UnitedHealthcare (UHC) and Duke LifePoint (DLP) have reached a multi-year agreement. As a result, network access is restored to all of DLP hospitals and its physicians for plan participants enrolled in UnitedHealthcare employer-sponsored, individual and Medicare Advantage health plans. As a result, the following North Carolina facilities rejoin UnitedHealthcare's network effective April 25, 2019:

  • Central Carolina Hospital, Sanford, NC
  • Frye Regional Medical Center, Hickory, NC
  • Maria Parham Medical Center, Henderson, NC
  • Person Memorial Hospital, Roxboro, NC
  • Rutherford Hospital, Rutherfordton, NC

Additionally, DLP physicians who went out of UnitedHealthcare's network will rejoin, effective May 1, 2019.
