RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. – Hill, Chesson & Woody (HCW), a health and welfare benefits brokerage and consulting firm that designs, manages and implements employee benefit programs, has announced that Stephanie Clark, marketing specialist, has received the 2013 40 Under 40 Leadership Award from Triangle Business Journal. Each year, the awards recognize outstanding professionals under the age of 40 for their contributions to their organizations and dedication to community service. Clark was selected among more than 300 nominees for her commitment to continuing the success of HCW, her leadership within the company and her devotion to improving the quality of life in the Triangle through her nonprofit work.

With more than a decade of industry experience, Clark joined HCW in 2009 and was promoted from marketing coordinator to marketing specialist within her first two years. She is responsible for designing, delivering and tracking HCW’s lead generation campaigns to build the firm’s brand identity. Clark volunteers her spare time toward Habitat for Humanity’s Bull Moon Ride & Run, a summer twilight tour of downtown Durham where riders, runners and walkers tour the city of Durham, enjoying music along the route and returning to festivities at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park.

Clark joined 39 other award winners at an awards luncheon on Thursday, May 16 at the Durham Convention Center at 201 Foster St.

“We could not be more proud of Stephanie for her hard work and dedication to HCW and the Triangle community,” said Todd Yates, managing partner at Hill, Chesson & Woody. “She is more than deserving of this award for her sustained success within the firm and the time she spends volunteering for the Bull Moon Ride and Run and other great causes.”
