Members covered under your Aetna/Coventry medical plan that are patients of Ob/Gyn practices associated with Unified Women’s Health may have recently received a letter or email message regarding the future participation of their Ob/Gyn practice within the Aetna/Coventry network effective January 1, 2016.

The Aetna/Coventry Network Management team is currently working with Unified Women's Health to clarify any misunderstanding. To date, no Unified Women's Health Ob/Gyn practices have been removed from the Aetna/Coventry network, and there have been no active discussions about a possible lapse in participation.

Aetna/Coventry is committed to their relationships with all participating providers and will continue to do everything they can to provide members with access to a high quality, affordable network. Further member communication may be coming when more is understood about what prompted the communication.
