Local Benefits And Consulting Firm Adds New Hire To Underwriting & Risk Management Team

DURHAM, N.C., April 14, 2016 – Hill, Chesson & Woody (HCW), an independent benefits consulting firm, has announced the hiring of Chris Triebel as Underwriting Risk Analyst team lead. In this role, Triebel is responsible for reviewing client renewal information, performing risk analyses, and presenting observations and recommendations to consultants. Triebel will work as both a coach and a player, monitoring performance of his team as well as performing underwriting duties.

Upon graduation, Triebel worked as a Business Analyst as well as an investment analyst in Chicago, IL. After a combined six years in those industries, he transitioned into public education. He taught high school mathematics for the past 10 years, in Joliet, IL and most recently, in Raleigh, NC.

Triebel graduated from Monmouth College in 1999 with a Bachelor of Arts in mathematics. He received his Master of Arts in Education in 2005 at National Louis University and his Master of Arts in Educational Administration in 2013 at Lewis University. He resides in Raleigh, NC with his wife and two children.
