Innovative ideas. Expert opinions. Knowledge and experience. HCW has a wealth of subject matter experts that initiate discussions, explore ideas and promote education within the employee benefits industry. We speak on topics that range from comprehensive benefit strategy development, traditional insurance brokerage services, regulation compliance, worksite wellness initiatives, consumer driven health plans, benefit communications strategies, healthcare reform and much more.
HCW participates in a wide array of industry organizations and associations to ensure we are educating our clients proactively on compliance issues and policies, instead of merely reacting to them. Our speakers are recognized for a commitment to knowledge and are available by request with an array of speaking topics for your association or group meeting. Also be sure to visit our blog for up-to-date, industry information from the HCW knowledge base.
The majority of HCW presentations are submitted for approval of recertification credit hours toward PHR, SPHR and GPHR recertification through the HR Certification Institute. The HRCI seal of approval is featured on all pre-approved seminar invitations. The use of this seal is not an endorsement by the HR Certification Institute of the quality of the program. It means that this program has met the HR Certification Institute’s criteria to be pre-approved for recertification credit.
HCW is recognized by SHRM to offer Professional Development Credits (PDCs) for the SHRM-CPSM or SHRM-SCPSM. The SHRM Preferred Provider seal will appear on all pre-approved seminar invitations.
HCW is also registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. The CPE Sponsor seal will appear on all pre-approved seminar invitations. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website.
From the Piedmont to the Coast, more than 1,000 employers are maximizing the potential of their organizations through expert human resources and employee benefits guidance that was established by the HCW and CAI partnership. This collaboration is unique in the state of North Carolina, as clients of both firms gain industry leadership and solutions in a complex and dynamic business environment. For more than six years, the marketplace has been benefiting from our relationship due to employer tools and research – such as the annual NC Healthcare Benefits & Cost Survey – numerous educational events, Ask the Expert sessions, daily advising and guidance.
Through this partnership, we offer our Benefits Knowledge 8 series. This program, featuring eight free HRCI-accredited courses, is designed to arm employers with the knowledge they need to take control of their employee benefits strategy and healthcare costs. All courses feature a Hill, Chesson & Woody speaker and are facilitated by CAI in their Raleigh and Greensboro locations. Learn more about these sessions and how to register for them on the CAI website.
